Completing the profile after accepting the GDPR

One of the significant challenges when working with various sources of talent is the heterogeneity of the information you receive from each person's profile in Talent Clue. Some profiles have less than half of the information you would like to receive, or they may lack essential data necessary for filtering in the talent database.

There are two cases in which this occurs:

  • When the candidate comes from an external job portal, has a different form, and does not accept your privacy policy there.
  • When you manually add a profile to the talent database.

To ensure you have the maximum information for all candidates, this article will explain:

  • How to configure Talent Clue so that candidates can complete their CV once they have accepted your privacy policy.
  • What the candidate's experience is in this process.

Specific Configuration

First and foremost, go to "Settings" and click on "Candidate Messaging Templates".

Once you click there, you will see all the message templates that can be sent from Talent Clue. The two emails you need to review are (highlighted in blue):

  • Candidate application via job boards
  • Added candidate - Information about GDPR

You should have the "Request express consent" option activated, which generates two links in the email, one for acceptance and another for cancellation. It's when the candidate agrees to be in the database that they can subsequently complete their CV, as we will see below.

Candidate's Experience

Once the candidate receives the email, if they click on the option "Yes, I accept being in the data base", they will see the following screen.

If they click on "Yes, I want to be a part of it!" a window will open just below, as shown in the image below.

This two-step process is necessary to protect the data of individuals registered in the talent database.

After requesting the code, they will receive an email containing an alphanumeric code that they must use to complete the process.

Once they enter the code, the system will confirm it, and they will become part of the talent database they registered for.

After this, they will see the following screen, which confirms their inclusion in the talent database and asks them to review their profile data and fill in any information they consider necessary.

In no case are registrations lost at this stage. Candidates are already part of your talent database at this point. This is an additional step to encourage them to provide more information for their profile.

  • If the fields are optional, they can choose whether or not to complete them to enhance their profile.
  • If the fields are mandatory, they must complete them to finalize their profile.

After completing this step and clicking the "Update" button, they will see the following screen, confirming that their data has been successfully updated.
