Example of how to use the Screener from a position

If you've come this far, it's because you're already familiar with all the elements that make up the Screener search tool and want to consult a search tutorial. If, on the other hand, you haven't gone through the previous articles, we recommend that you read them to get the most out of this powerful candidate screening tool.

If you've consulted both articles, you're now ready to use it. You can use it from a position you're working in or screen from your entire database. This article will explain how to use the Screener from a position.

Access a position

Expand the "Jobs" menu and access "Open jobs" or "Closed jobs":

 

Click on the title of the desired position:

 

Once inside the job position, you can access the Screener tool by clicking on its green funnel icon:

1. Choose Filters

There are numerous filters with different functions. As explained in this article, these filters are used differently depending on their nature.

2. Select filters depending on the type of candidate you're looking for

The candidate we're looking for should have some experience in IT, be aged between 24 and 52, should have finished high school, and have residency in Barcelona. Therefore, we will select the appropriate filters.

As you know, there are different types of filters. Range filters, such as the age filter, are treated differently. Find out how to work with them here.

3. Check the boxes in your filters

Check the boxes corresponding to the fields you're looking for.

4. Click the green checkmark to screen

Once you've checked the boxes you need, click on the icons of the green checkmarks to perform the screening.

5. Click the green bar

Once you've clicked on the green checkmarks, the system will screen the information. At this point, we already have 5 screened candidates; now it's time to promote or discard them. Click the green bar to access the management page.

6. Promote them, discard them, or take other actions on the screened candidates

Once you've clicked on the green bar showing potential candidates, you'll access the page from which you can take actions on the candidates and perform the final screening. If you don't find the desired candidate, you can always click the Screener button to go back and repeat the process.
