Setting up Automatic Messages for a Position

Sometimes, depending on the position we are dealing with, we find ourselves in the situation of having to deactivate our automatic message templates because we prefer to personally contact the candidate.

Now you can configure which automatic messages will be sent for each of your positions.

To configure automatic messages for a specific position, go to the "Open Jobs" section and select the position you desire.

Within the position, click on the bell icon.

Managing Automatic Messages

From here, you can see which templates are active and, if they are, whether they are enabled or not.

Now, we will explain in more detail what this means and how to configure it.

Activate or Deactivate

When a template appears with a crossed-out eye icon next to it, it is a template that you do not have activated. From this window, if you click on "Activate here", you will be taken directly to "Candidate Messaging Templates", where you can activate the message templates. You can also see which languages you have configured for each template.

Note!

Even if you access "Candidate Messaging Templates" from a specific position, enabling or disabling a template will have an effect on all positions. Therefore, if you activate a template, it will be automatically sent by default, and you will need to disable automatic sending for each position. It will appear as enabled in all positions.

Enable or Disable

Once you have activated messages from the Talent Clue settings, return to the message management menu for a specific position to enable or disable the automatic message for that position.

The messages that are enabled will be the ones sent to the candidates, so now you should enable and/or disable the messages that interest you for this position.

Co-workers Permissions

If you are an Owner or Administrator, there will be no problem with activating or deactivating message templates or enabling or disabling messages for each position.

However, if your role is that of a Collaborator, you can enable and/or disable messages. However, you will not be able to access the Talent Clue settings to activate and/or deactivate message templates. We will explain below what you can do in this case.

View Message

As you can see to the left of the enable and disable option, there is an eye icon. This icon allows you to view the template you have configured for that message, and to change it, you must do so from the Talent Clue settings.

Notification in the Bell

It is possible that when you access a position, you may see a blue circle in the bell. This is a notification to inform you that another user has made some changes, either by enabling and/or disabling messages or by activating and/or deactivating a template.

What if I am a Member or Participant?

All roles that allow position management, whether Collaborator or Participant and above, can enable or disable notifications for each position. Remember that it only affects the specific position. However, Collaborators and Participants do not have sufficient permissions to configure messages. Therefore, if a message is disabled in Settings, they will not be able to enable or disable it.

What if I am an Administrator or Owner?

When you have Configuration permissions, the notification screen will alert you that you have a message disabled and will link you to the settings to activate it if you believe it is necessary to enable and disable it for each position.
